Description: Shrubby tree that can reach heights up to five meters tall. The leaves are dark green and take a weird curved shape.

Ways it was Used:

  • Preferred source of fibers for making kapa.
  • Kapa is used for clothing as well as blankets, burial coverings.
  • The raw bark was twisted or beaten into cordage.
