Hear Stories of Resilience from Our Kupuna: Wed, May 4 @ 3 pm

Come check out how students in the Resilience Corps Leaders (RCL) program are mapping out stories of place-based resilience from kupuna and building toward a stronger community. According to the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, resilient communities are better able to plan for and take action to mitigate the risks from hazards, increase the pace of recovery from destructive events, and adapt to changing environments.

RCL is funded by Hawaiian Electric Company and cultivates the next generation of sustainability and resilience professionals, educators, and residents who can integrate sustainability and resilience competencies into their careers and communities.
