STEM clubs are an excellent way to join a research project, get to know faculty in a relaxed environment, and talk to students in your major. You can use the experience to beef up your resume and network with people in the industry.

Nā Kia'i Honua Ecology Club

Kapi’olani Association of Research in Microbiology (KARM)

ADVISOR: JOHN BERESTECKY

KARM is comprised of UH Mānoa and KCC students enrolled in biology, microbiology, cell and molecular biology and biochemistry. Students work on the production of monoclonal antibodies and the analysis of Campylobacter jejuni (which is the number one cause of bacterial gastroenteritis)
