On October 3, 2025, Kapiʻolani Community College welcomed more than 60 high school counselors and community partners for a full day of engagement. In the morning, guests rotated through sessions on Academic Programs, Health Sciences, and the UHCC application and admissions process. As part of the Academic Programs rotation in the Library, our STEM and Undergraduate Research Experience team connected with counselors to share program opportunities and encouraged them to guide their students toward STEM pathways at Kapiʻolani CC.
At midday, counselors heard from a student panel, followed by the Student Support Resource Fair, where campus resources and services were highlighted to showcase the support available for future Kapiʻolani CC students.
We were excited to make meaningful connections with counselors from across Hawaiʻi and look forward to continuing these partnerships to inspire and support the next generation of Kapiʻolani CC students.
