Scholarships

One of the major goals of the Kapi’olani Community College STEM Program is to ease some of the financial burden that so many college students face. One way we do this is by finding scholarships that STEM students may qualify for.

KapCC Featured Scholarships:

A well-educated science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce is a significant contributor to maintaining the competitiveness of the U.S. in the global economy. The National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) program addresses the need for a high quality STEM workforce in STEM disciplines supported by the program and for the increased success of low-income academically talented students with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) provides a Bridge to the Baccalaureate (B2B) program that is aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of under-represented students successfully completing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degree programs. The program  supports students interested in participating in Peer Mentoring and Undergraduate Research.
